Haunted Keepsakes came into being in late 2005 when owner Karen Murphy was looking for a unique gift for a friend and fellow haunt business owner. She searched all over for a place where she could get some personalized items done with her friend's company logo on them. Unfortunately, all the options she found came with a high price tag. There were set up fees, artwork fees, and minimum quantities that had to be ordered, pushing the price way up and making them an unaffordable option. It was shortly after that when she did some research and decided to craft something herself for her friend, and Haunted Keepsakes was born! The first items crafted were Christmas ornaments and her friend couldn't believe his eyes when he opened the box and saw his company logo staring at him on the glass bulbs. His reaction to the ornaments was so gratifying when he called to thank her, she knew right then and there that other haunt friends and haunt business owners would appreciate them as well.
